The Market at Eastpoint is a grocery-store that is seeking to move beyond food access toward food justice and food security.
The vision for this ~7,000 sq. foot grocery store began with a community garden on a vacant lot in North Creston Hills that quickly became an Urban Farm designed to help end the "food desert" designation that has defined our community for too long.
Led by 22 high school students from the neighborhood, we are excited about pushing hard behind the next generations of leaders to see and be part of the change that our neighbors have desired to see for many years.
Since that day, we have been working hard to serve our neighbors with not just a source for fresh, healthy foods but as a resource venter and community hub.
Market at Eastpoint Manager
Brandi is an Eastside native, born and raised in NE OKC. She attended NW Classen high school and received her GED from OCCC. For 13 years, Brandi ran her own restaurant, "A Family Affair" (a NE OKC institution!), feeding her community from the restaurant and via catering events.
In 2020, Brandi joined Restore OKC, at first running the Market at the Hub, then the Eastside Eatery, and now managing the entire Market and Eatery operation. Brandi is an award-winning chef, a 2022 Eastside Community Award recipient, and a mother of two.
Brandi was named Student of the Year by Metro Tech and is the 2022 FCCLA State and National champion chef.
Assistant Manager
Ashley grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Putnam City North high school. Ashley attended OSU and graduated last year from OSU-OKC. Ashley has also attended cosmetology school and is a licensed Peer Recovery Support Specialist. Ashley is an active member of OKC Community Church. Ashley joined The Market team in 2021 and now helps lead our entire organization.
Back of House Manager
Kandi grew up in Virginia. Her 20 years of Air Force service brought her to Tinker Airforce base and upon leaving the service Kandi stayed in the area. Kandi joined The Market in 2020, three weeks after we opened. Kandi started as a barista and now keeps our systems and prices organized and accurate!
